Growth hormone (GH) increases kidney function in healthy women. This effect is blocked when prostaglandin production is inhibited, suggesting prostaglandins are essential for GH-induced kidney improvements.

  • To investigate if vasodilating prostaglandins are required for the renal hemodynamic response to exogenous GH in humans.
