Preliminary results of a new intraoperative corneal topography technique

We describe a new technique for measuring corneal topography intraoperatively and present preliminary results obtained with a prototype instrument. The technique is based on projected-fringe contouring and uses phase-shifting algorithms. Color-coded true topographic maps, obtained during penetrating keratoplasty on human and cadaver eyes, are presented.
