Summary

Dentoalveolar adaptation occurs in individuals with disharmonious vertical jaw relationships, but this adaptation is inconsistent and sometimes incomplete. Increased vertical jaw angles lead to greater dentoalveolar heights, particularly in the maxilla and anterior regions.
