Cuboid stress fracture. A case report

Background:

Stress fractures are uncommon injuries, particularly in the midfoot.
Initial radiographic evaluation (X-ray) may not detect subtle fractures.

Computed tomography (CT) offers a more detailed imaging approach.

CT scans can definitively diagnose cuboid stress fractures, even when X-rays are inconclusive.
This imaging modality provides clear visualization of fracture location and dimensions.
CT aids in tracking bone healing progression over time.

CT imaging facilitates appropriate management and rehabilitation strategies.
