Abstract:
The authors describe side-effects of heparin administration during chronic dialytic treatment. For every complication they present a new clinical and therapeutic guideline. They then illustrate their method for monitoring heparin therapy with partial activated thromboplastin time and low dose heparin combined with prostacyclin.
