Pyogenic hepatic abscess: long resolution time despite adequate therapy

Summary

Successful treatment of a pyogenic hepatic abscess was achieved with antibiotics and drainage. Slow abscess cavity resolution (over 3 months) does not indicate treatment failure, highlighting the importance of extended observation periods.
