[Degenerative diseases of the joints and spine]

A survey is given of the different kinds of osteoarthritis, how the diagnosis should be established, how the clinical examination should be performed; how information for the case history should be found out, and which supplementary findings (radiological laboratory) should be gathered. The therapeutic possibilities are discussed.
