Abstract:
An intracranial dural arteriovenous malformation (DAVM) is presented, which received some of its blood supply from the left thyrocervical trunk. Since arterial supply from the thyrocervical trunk is not revealed by routine four vessel cerebral angiography, opacification of the ipsilateral thyrocervical trunk is advocated in patients with posterior fossa DAVMs for whom endovascular treatment is being considered.
