Summary

The Piezolith 2300 effectively disintegrated all human gallstones in vitro, unlike the EDAP LT.01 and Therasonic lithotripters. This piezoelectric lithotripter required fewer shockwave pulses for stone fragmentation compared to the other devices tested.
