Heterologous cartilage in sandwich lower lid reconstruction

Postoperative healing in 15 patients in which Chondroplast, a heterologous irradiated bovine cartilage preparation, was used in conjunction with the "sandwich technique" to replace form-defining and supporting intrapalpebral lamella in connection with treatment of palpebral tumors, was uncomplicated, with no rejection to date.
