Background:

Uterine septa are congenital malformations that can cause significant reproductive challenges, including infertility and recurrent miscarriages.
Traditional surgical repair often involves open abdominal or hysteroscopic procedures with associated risks and recovery times.

Observation:

Four patients diagnosed with reproductive failure due to uterine septa underwent transvaginal hysteroscopic metroplasty.
The procedure was performed using a minimally invasive transvaginal approach.

Findings:

Two patients have achieved successful pregnancies following the procedure.
A third patient is currently in the second trimester of a successful pregnancy, indicating positive outcomes.
The transvaginal hysteroscopic metroplasty demonstrated efficacy in correcting uterine septa and improving fertility.

Implications:

Transvaginal hysteroscopic metroplasty presents a promising, less invasive alternative to conventional surgical methods for treating uterine septa.
This approach may improve pregnancy success rates and reduce patient recovery time.
Further research and wider adoption could redefine the standard of care for uterine malformations affecting fertility.
