Novel CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs), termed MLK cells, derived from cattle mixed lymphocyte reactions (MLR) demonstrate potent killing of diverse target cells, irrespective of MHC compatibility. This challenges conventional understanding of CTL specificity.
