Summary

Spindle cell hemangioendothelioma, a rare vascular tumor, can present aggressively. This case highlights a 20-year-old man with a painful ankle mass causing bone erosion, demonstrating unusual clinical and histologic features.

Background:

Spindle cell hemangioendothelioma (Spindle cell hemangioendothelioma) is a rare vascular neoplasm.
Typically presents as indolent subcutaneous nodules with a tendency for recurrence.
Histologically, it can resemble cavernous hemangioma and Kaposi's sarcoma.
