Abstract:
This paper sets out to explore the value of attending a staff support group from the group members' perspective. Thirty four staff employed by King's Healthcare NHS Trust in South London were asked to complete a questionnaire which sought their views on two topics. First, their views on the advantages and disadvantages of attending a staff support group and second, their views on an outside facilitator for the groups. Group members came from community and school nursing backgrounds.
