Patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) show higher levels of nasal inflammation markers, including polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs), bradykinin, and vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP). This suggests nasal inflammation contributes to upper airway obstruction in OSA.
