Summary

Hantaviruses cause severe diseases like hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) and hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS) in humans. These viruses, spread by rodents, are found globally and share common symptoms, with HPS being more fatal.
