Cultural partnerships. Texas physicians team up with colleagues from the former Soviet Union

Slowly but surely, the patients just stopped coming. Not because the hospital lacked beds or skilled doctors and nurses to take care of them, and not because they had anywhere else to go. They stopped coming, no matter how sick they got, because word got around that going to the hospital either didn't help or could make them sicker.
