Abstract:
The work is based on the analysis of clinical observations over 18 patients with a rare pathology of the small intestine, who needed an urgent operative intervention. These included 7 patients with intestinal phlegmon, 1 - with terminal ileitis, 1 adult patient - with intestinal invagination, 3 patients - with benign tumors of the small intestine, 6 patients with intestinal infarction. The absence of characteristic symptoms for each of these lesions was the main cause of an erroneous diagnosis preoperatively.
