Abstract:
The Municipality of Saint-Fons has been a member of AFEDA since 1991. The fight against Ragweed is particularly active and efficient. The Community Association for Health Education has widely informed the local population. The Extra-Municipal Commission for the Protection of the Environment, which plays a consultative role as regards the municipality, has succeeded in arousing a high degree of awareness of the Ragweed problem among both local councillors and staff responsible for the upkeep of green spaces.
