[Practical experiences in the therapy of postoperative uremic crises]

Older dogs are often in the status of compensated chronic kidney failure. The onset of postoperative uremic crisis is often insidious and treatment is very difficult. The authors present different well known therapeutic methods and make the conclusion, that those methods which include the daily application of a central nervous stimulant agent give superior results when compared to other methods.
