Aggressive thyroid cancer associated with toxic nodular goitre

Summary
Thyrotoxicosis and thyroid cancer can coexist. This study found aggressive thyroid cancer, including fatal cases, in patients with toxic nodular goitre, challenging previous assumptions about cancer behavior.
