Abstract:
The relationship between demographic variables and ward behaviors was explored for 196 institutionalized addicts. The extent of the relationship was tested by the multivariate F statistics. Six of the 10 variables investigated were found to be significant predictors; namely, race, sex, times married, frequency of primary drug use, times arrested on nondrug charges, and school grade.
