Background:

  • Hepatobiliary tuberculosis is uncommon.

Observation:

  • A 64-year-old female presented with anorexia, fatigue, skin discoloration, tea-colored urine, and weight loss.
  • Initial investigations suggested a gallbladder tumor.

Findings:

  • Histopathological examination revealed tuberculosis of the liver and gallbladder.
  • Hepatobiliary tuberculosis presenting as a gallbladder tumor is rare and lacks pathognomonic signs.

Implications:

  • Accurate diagnosis requires histopathology, PCR, or microbiological studies.
  • Early and appropriate therapy is essential for managing this rare condition.
