Summary

Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is associated with smaller total brain volume and altered asymmetry in key brain regions, particularly the caudate nucleus and frontal cortex. These findings suggest dysfunction in right-sided prefrontal-striatal systems in ADHD.
