Abstract:
The SAS macro EXPLORE is conceived as an exploratory data analysis tool. Its output is an extension to the traditional correlation matrix, allowing the assessment of both categorical and numerical data 'at one look'. Depending on the type of data, appropriate statistics and graphs are produced. An overview of the features of the program and their implementation is given. Program invocation and execution are explained. Potential misuses are discussed.
