Summary

Reduced dose high-resolution spiral-CT (HR-SCT) with multiplanar volume reconstruction (MPVR) significantly lowers radiation exposure for bone imaging. This technique achieves sufficient image quality for routine examinations without diagnostic compromise, except for very small structures.
