Summary

Segmental chemoembolization using Lipiodol (Lp) mixed with anticancer agents offers a less invasive, effective treatment for small hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This approach shows high rates of tumor necrosis and comparable efficacy to surgery for tumors under 3 cm.
