Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is a rare, locally aggressive skin cancer.
Bednar tumor is an uncommon variant of DFSP, accounting for less than 5% of cases.
Both DFSP and Bednar tumor exhibit similar aggressive biologic behavior.

Observation:

A case of Bednar tumor was presented.
The tumor displayed characteristics similar to dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans.
