Summary

Dynamic MRI using gadolinium-diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (Gd-DTPA) offers a novel method for assessing kidney function. This technique effectively differentiates normal renal function from chronic renal failure, hydronephrosis, and vascular disorders by analyzing signal changes in the renal cortex and medulla.
