[Idiopathic ventricular fibrillation: apropos of 2 clinical cases]

We describe two patients with idiopathic ventricular fibrillation recently evaluated to whom it was implanted a cardioversor desfibrillator system. It is our purpose to make a brief review of the etiology, diagnostic procedures, therapy and prognosis of this clinical entity, which is an important rare cause of sudden cardiac death.
