Abstract
Objectives:
(a) To establish the clinical experience of Scottish general practice trainees in palliative care. (b) To establish the extent of their training in the discipline. (c) To elicit their views on home care.
Design:
Postal questionnaire survey.
Subjects And Setting:
Forty-seven trainee general practitioners attending the Scottish National Trainees Conference in Aberdeen in February 1995.
Main Outcome Measures:
Experience of palliative care in hospital and in general practice and training received in each setting. Perception of need for further training. Views on home care.
