Reasons for pre-hospital delay in reporting chest pain

This paper looks at why there are still delays between onset of chest pain in myocardial infarction and administration of thrombolytic therapy. It looks at the research into these delays and sets out a number of reasons for them. It also recommends courses of action and further studies to address the problem.
