Purpose of the Study:

  • To compare the effectiveness of standard graded residency training versus an intensive course plus graded training for laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
  • To determine if additional intensive training is necessary for surgical residents to achieve proficiency in LC.

  • Retrospective analysis of consecutive laparoscopic cholecystectomy cases.
