[Uveal inflammation secondary to lens implantation]

On the basis of the 460 cases of implant of lens, the author analyses the different types of uveal inflammatory reactions appeared during the post-operation period. These inflammations were more numerous and graver in the cases of implants with pupilar suport and of C.A. The implants of C.P. produced moderate inflammations and a reduced number of cases. The attentively supervising and the treatment carried out with steroidian anti-inflammatories (dexametazone, betametazone) or nesteroidians (diclofenac, indometacine) are able to stop the inflammatory reactions and to improve the functional results.
