Ten-month-old male rats thymectomized in early post-puberty were ascertained to have lower plasma luteinizing and testicular hormones and higher testicular steroid dehydrogenase activity. Following 24 hours of administration of a thymocyte membrane structural agent, pituitary gonadotropic and gonadal androgenic functions became normal.
