[Differentiating gynecologic tumors in woman using correlated imaging techniques]

The comparative analysis of the effectiveness of correlated imaging techniques like plain X-ray of abdomen, ultrasonography, excretion urography, double contrast barium enema, HSG, computed tomography, was performed in the group of 92 women presenting with gynaecological tumors. The observed echostructural changes were correlated with different density of pathological tissues in CT imaging especially with contrast enhancement. Within the urinary tract, intestinal loops and contrasted ovarian tubes we assessed displacement, infiltration and segmental obliterative narrowings caused by compression.
