Purpose of the Study:
- To assess the efficacy of recombinant human interferon-beta-1a in reducing disease activity in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS).
- To evaluate the impact of interferon-beta-1a on MRI-detected lesions and clinical relapse rates.

- 68 RRMS patients received either 3 or 9 MIU of interferon-beta-1a subcutaneously three times weekly for six months.
