Abstract:
Surface immunoglobulins and lymphocyte adhesiveness were studied in 32 malnourished children. Percentages of lymphocytes carrying surface immunoglobulins showed marked dispersion in dystreptic children. Compared with the group of healthy children of the same age groups dystreptic children showed no significant differences in the percentages of lymphocytes with surface immunoglobulins of different classes or of their sum. The morphologic composition of lymphocytes in dystreptic, compared with healthy children, was similar, but adhesiveness of small lymphocytes was higher in dystreptic children.
