Summary

Actinomyces pyogenes hemolysin, isolated from cattle liver abscesses, is oxygen-stable but sensitive to heat and pH extremes. This study characterizes its properties and identifies two distinct hemolysin proteins, also finding co-occurring leukotoxin activity.
