Abstract:
Computer interpretation of electrocardiograms is far from adequate. This paper highlights a particular type of computer error that is merely symbolic of the large number of errors the computer can make. In addition to computer errors in electrocardiography, it is likely that computer interpretation has diminished the ability of physicians to interpret electrocardiograms.
