Summary

This study introduces a new fluorescent substrate using fluorescein isothiocyanate-labeled bovine serum albumin (FITC-BSA) for measuring protease activity. The assay demonstrates high sensitivity and significant fluorescence enhancement upon proteolytic digestion, enabling precise detection of enzyme levels.
