Summary
Vaporization of the prostate (VLAP) effectively treats smaller benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) glands, comparable to traditional surgery. For larger BPH glands, VLAP can improve obstructive symptoms, though it may not fully resolve urodynamically proven obstructions.
