Summary

A novel percutaneous chronic epidural catheterization technique was established in rabbits. This minimally invasive method allows for the study of epidurally administered drugs in a small animal model.

  • A 19-gauge Tuohy needle and a 23-gauge Nylon catheter were used with a paramedian approach.
