Abstract:
Once preventive measures for Alzheimer disease are identified, there will be great pressure to implement programs to reduce the impact of the disease. The development of effective programs will require detailed information on the characteristics of the disease, which can be collected now, and on the characteristics of the intervention which should be collected during the intervention trial. Without this information, the implementation of an effective prevention program would be needlessly delayed.
