Summary

A rare retinal cavernous hemangioma caused strabismus and vision loss in a young male. The condition led to significant red-green color vision deficiency and impaired cone function in the affected eye.

  • Cone response and 30-Hz flicker electroretinogram (ERG) responses were significantly diminished.
  • These findings indicate severe cone dysfunction.
  • The peripheral retinal lesion was associated with central cone dysfunction.
