Summary

Rabies encephalitis occurred in an immunocompromised patient with advanced Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection. Despite treatment, the patient died, highlighting the need for complete rabies post-exposure prophylaxis in all individuals, especially those with weakened immune systems.
