The demographic situation in Europe

In this article 10 maps have been adapted from those shown in the Introduction to Recent demographic developments in Europe, the most recent in the series of annual reports prepared by the European Population Committee, the Council of Europe's intergovernmental body for demographic matters. The maps give a brief overview of the demographic situation in Europe using 1994 data where available.
