[Use of technological resources in order to facilitate the nurses' work]

Nowadays technological resources are being employed to facilitate several work activities. This includes patient's elevator which is essential for their moving and transportation without causing excessive physical stress for the nursing group. The objectives of this study were to investigate the reason for the lack of use of this type of resource which is available in neurological clinics and to elaborate guidelines for orientation and training. The results showed us that the cause for non utilization of this resource was the lack of training of the nursing team. The guidelines for teaching and training are presented.
