Tarsal fracture dislocation with plantar dislocation of the navicular: a case study

A rare case of fracture-dislocation of the midtarsal bones with plantar dislocation of the navicular, the latter not being fractured, is described in this article. The working mechanism produced is discussed in accordance with previously described classifications. Open reduction and osteosynthesis are necessary.
