Abstract:
The authors evaluated 2 cases of carcinoid of the appendix from 45 macroscopically appendiceal tumors from 360 appendectomies, performed in 3 years. They analyzed retrospectively the difficulty of diagnosis and the indications for the right treatment by means of of medical publications.
